A modern plug in electric scooter

http://inhabitat.com/genze-is-a-smart-scooter-that-helps-redefine-urban-mobility/

I came across this story and I think it’s a pretty good idea. Being able to charge your scooter battery in a standard outlet at home, school, or work would increase the usability and flexibility as well as the range of these little gems. The environmental and traffic congestion impacts could be huge as well from this type of technology being widely available and affordable. One person’s affordability is another person’s unattainable millions though. They would have to come down in price drastically for ‘everyone’ to have this type of transportation within reach. I’m just glad that things like this are being made. That’s the first step toward access for all.

Have a great weekend Slow Kids! For many of you spring is just around the corner! Stay warm until the thaw.
